Hey everyone, I’ve been a bad blogger. I know writing that has become almost cliche with photographers, but we’re all so busy seeing that it’s at the height of the wedding season. Here’s some personal photos from earlier this year at the Riviera Maya. We were fortunate to sneak our trip in to Mexico toward the tail end of all the drug lord wars and before the Swine flu epidemic. It was a blast and some needed getaway time.

Ben & Jill’s Wedding

Ben and Jill had a beautiful wedding ceremony and reception at the Morton Arboretum located in Lisle, Illinois. This place has a huge variety of plant life and trees making for a spectacular setting to have a wedding. The ceremony was at the Hedge Garden followed by the party in the Gingko Room. I met Andy & Emily last summer when Amy and I photographed Andy’s surprise wedding proposal in Chicago. Their wedding was both beautiful and elegant. The prelude to Andy & Emily’s South Beach wedding was a night of food, drinks, and fun with family and friends at South Beach’s upscale Lucky Strike Lanes. Unlike the typical bowling alley Lucky Strike has a hip ambiance with its modern decor and artist showcase. Check back in a few days for some images from their really fabulous wedding.
